Whipcracks are an enemy in Banjo-Kazooie.
Whipcracks are enemies that resemble tree limbs and are a variant of Whiplashes. They only appear in Banjo-Kazooie, where they typically appear in woody or overgrown areas. They appear in Gruntilda's Lair, Mad Monster Mansion, and Click Clock Wood.

Characteristics
Whipcracks are plant-like Whiplashes appearing in Gruntilda's Lair, Mad Monster Mansion and Click Clock Wood. Whipcracks stay stationary, being often found in confined rooms and serving as obstacles for Banjo and Kazooie. They are immune to most moves, but can be defeated with three Blue Eggs or the Wonderwing move.

When Banjo and Kazooie approach a Whipcrack, it starts to violently thrash back and forth with a multitude of creaking noises to try and hit them. They are usually placed in confined spaces such as corridors, tunnels, or small rooms and are often found in groups, making avoiding them and moving around difficult. Whipcracks are immune to most conventional attacks, but can easily be dispatched by three Blue Eggs or by using Wonderwing.
