Trunker is a turban-wearing coconut tree appearing in Gobi's Valley in Banjo-Kazooie. He can be found on a small island next to the world's starting point. Trunker tells Banjo and Kazooie that he is very thirsty. Kazooie is unsympathetic, asking, "How's your nuts, bark breath?" and earns a scolding from Banjo. Banjo offers some Feathers and Blue Eggs to aid the tree. However, Trunker tells them that only water can help quench his thirst.

Physical traits
Trunker is a coconut tree who wears a turban.

Biography
Trunker appears in Gobi's Valley, on a small island next to the world's starting point. When Banjo and Kazooie encounter Trunker, he tells them that he is very thirsty. Kazooie rudely and unsympathetically asks, "How's your nuts, bark breath?," and is then reprimanded by Banjo. Banjo offers to provide Trunker with feathers and eggs, although Trunker says that only water can quench his thirst.

Once Banjo and Kazooie have freed Gobi, he lies under Trunker's shade. Gobi selfishly keeps all the water for himself, so Banjo and Kazooie must use Beak Buster on his back to have Gobi forcefully spit out his water onto Trunker. Gobi runs away complaining, but Trunker grows tall, and a Jiggy appears on his head. To reach the Jiggy, Banjo and Kazooie can either climb the nearest palm tree and use Feathery Flap toward Trunker or by fly to the Jiggy.
After Banjo and Kazooie find Gobi and free him, Gobi runs to Trunker's Island to lie in the tree's shade. He comments that Trunker looks dry but that he, Gobi, needs all his water for himself. However, Gobi can be forced to give up his water if Banjo and Kazooie use the Beak Buster ability on Gobi's back, causing the camel to then spit out his stash of water onto Trunker. Gobi runs away complaining, but Trunker grows tall and reveals a Jiggy on his head. Banjo and Kazooie can reach this Jiggy most easily by climbing the nearest palm tree and using the Feathery Flap to reach Trunker's top. Alternatively, the Jiggy can also be reached by flying.

Name origin
Trivia
Trunker's name is based on the word "trunk," which is the name of the main stem of a tree.
*Interestingly, the entrance to Gobi's Valley from Gruntilda's Lair is a tree shaped just like Trunker.
