Snacker is a hungry, villainous shark found in the waters of Treasure Trove Cove and Rusty Bucket Bay in Banjo-Kazooie.
Snacker is an enemy and a character in Banjo-Kazooie.

Biography
Although the waters looks calm, if Banjo swims too far from shore in Treasure Trove Cove or within a fenced-in area in Rusty Bucket Bay, Snacker will appear from nowhere and chase him down while a signature piece of music plays, reminiscent of the Jaws theme.
Snacker is first encountered in Treasure Trove Cove. He is not seen unless Banjo starts swimming in the water, causing Snacker to emerge from nowhere and start to swim after Banjo. During this, music reminiscent of the Jaws theme starts playing. Snacker also appears in Rusty Bucket Bay, in the waters of a fenced-in area, but unlike Treasure Trove Cove, Snacker has no lines. Snacker swims slightly faster than Banjo and Kazooie. They can outrun Snacker by repeatedly jumping in and out of the water, performing a Feathery Flap each time. When Banjo and Kazooie reach land, Snacker gives up chasing them and disappears back into the water. Snacker can be defeated from either a Wonderwing attack or if Kazooie fires several eggs at him from behind. If defeated, Snacker releases three honeycombs. Snacker can only be defeated temporarily, because after a while, he starts to chase Banjo and Kazooie again.

Collectibles near Snacker in Treasure Trove Cove include the Blue Jinjo and both Extra Honeycomb Pieces, while in Rusty Bucket Bay, it is near the Yellow Jinjo and the underwater entrance to a building with an Extra Honeycomb Piece.
Snacker swims a bit faster than Banjo can paddle, but he can be outrun by constantly jumping out of the water and using the Feathery Flap; the Beak Buster and the Rat-a-tat Rap are also effective deterrents when used against the shark while on the surface (although neither does damage). If Banjo can reach safe land, the shark will lose interest within a few seconds and disappear.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Snacker is referenced on the billboard of a ship outside the Terrarium of Terror. It reads "Snacker's Loans," which is a play on the term "loan shark." The text also has other lines of text, like "500& A.P.R.," "Buy Ghoulies 2" and "All suckers considered."
Snacker is a constant threat while swimming and is quite hard to get rid of, but it can be done. Lure Snacker close to land and attack him as soon as he is within range: eggs fired from Kazooie's backside will do some damage and will send the shark belly-up after a few repeated attempts, and jumping on his head with the Wonderwing will deliver an instant kill.

Other appearances
Defeating Snacker will yield three Honeycombs and make the waters safe for swimming for a short while, but Snacker will return after a minute or two.
In Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, it is stated in the description of the Shark Tooth Necklace that a Fizzlybear once went to Treasure Trove Cove and fought Snacker to get it.

Items that Snacker "guards" in Treasure Trove Cove include the Blue Jinjo and both of Treasure Trove Cove's Extra Honeycomb Pieces, while the one in Rusty Bucket Bay guards the Yellow Jinjo and the underwater entrance to a building containing an Extra Honeycomb Piece.

The Snacker in Treasure Trove Cove talks constantly about Banjo being his next meal, which itself can be more of an incentive to stay on land than the actual threat of being bitten.

The Snacker in Rusty Bucket Bay never speaks, although it otherwise behaves exactly the same.

In Terrarium of Terror, there is a banner on a ship that reads "Snacker's Loan - 500% A.P.R.", which is a play on the term "loan shark".
