Location and uses
Fire Eggs are one of the five types of eggs Kazooie uses for ammunition in Banjo-Tooie. Jamjars teaches were how to use them on the Plateau just outside the entrance to Glitter Gulch Mine. They can be found in nests which shift between different egg types and can be used by tapping R to select them from the egg lineup.
Grunty's Revenge
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, the Fire Eggs are taught by Bozzeye at Freezing Furnace for 470 Musical Notes. This makes it the last move that Bozzeye teaches, unlike Banjo-Tooie where Kazooie learns about Fire Eggs near the start of the adventure. Fire Eggs retain their role from Banjo-Tooie, although they do not activate as many switches. Green Spookos can only be defeated by Fire Eggs, which is required during the final boss battle.

Banjo-Tooie
Fire Eggs deal more damage than normal Blue Eggs and will set enemies aflame when they hit, but Kazooie can only fire two at a time and can initially hold a maximum of 50. Burning enemies will panic and run around but not suffer extra damage. Fire eggs are useful in activating certain switches, such as the one which activates the door leading from the Plateau to the Pine Grove, and they can also be used to melt blocks of ice, light up dark areas, or defeat certain enemies quickly (such as Bang Boxes and Biggyfoots). Interestingly, they still burn when fired underwater.
Fire Eggs are one of the five eggs that Kazooie can use in Banjo-Tooie, the first appearance of Fire Eggs. Jamjars teaches her how to use them at the Plateau if she has at least 45 Musical Notes. Fire Eggs are only found in egg caches. Banjo and Kazooie can only carry up to 50, or 100 if they enter the EGGS cheat in the Code Chamber. As a dragon, Kazooie can shoot unlimited Fire Eggs.

Fire Eggs deal more damage than Blue Eggs, although they travel slower and Kazooie can shoot only two at a time. They instantly defeat enemies such as Bang Boxes and Bigfoots. Certain enemies, such as Moggie, run around in panic when hit by a Fire Egg, and Kazooie can defeat it by shooting a second one at it. Fire Eggs have many uses, as they can activate Fire Egg Switches, melt blocks of ice, and light up dark areas. They are also effective underwater.
If Kazooie becomes Dragon Kazooie, she gains an infinite amount of Fire Eggs.

Banjo-Pilot
de:Feuer-Eier
In Banjo-Pilot, Fire Eggs are common items found in quantities of either one or three, which are respectively named Single Red Fire Egg and Triple Red Fire Eggs. Red Fire Eggs home in on the nearest racer in front of whoever used the item. However, if the racer is in first place, a Red Fire Egg has no effect when used. Racers can avoid Fire Eggs with either a Blue Ice Egg or by performing a U-turn when a Red Fire Egg is behind them. Red Fire Eggs are one of the most common items used in the Dogfight mode.
