The currently unnamed Banjo-Kazooie experience at the SXSW Gaming Awards was  made by Audience Entertainment, exclusively for this event. The controls of the game work in a similar way to Microsoft's Kinect, but instead working with an entire crowd of people. The gameplay involves the audience raising their arms in the air and moving them either left or right to control Banjo and Kazooie, who are flying on a linear path collecting Musical Notes, Jiggies with the SXSW logo, and fragments of the SXSW special die that Gruntilda destroyed with her magic. Floating TNT barrels also appear in the level, which must be avoided to not lose points. After collecting enough pieces of the SXSW dice, the audience can shout to use a special power-up that gives them extra Music Notes. The game reuses Banjo & Kazooie's models and some sound effects from Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but also reuses the introduction music, Freezeezy Peak's theme, and Gruntilda's artwork from Banjo-Kazooie.
