'''Ticker''' is an enemy, found mainly at [[Mumbo's Mountain]]. One can also be found outside Mumbo's Mountain within [[Gruntilda's Lair]] in [[Banjo-Kazooie]]. He is an overgrown termite. Ticker's Mound can be found near [[Mumbo Jumbo]]'s skull-house on the top of the hill. Inside the mound, there are many other Tickers. [[Banjo]] can enter the mound but cannot climb it until he has been transformed into a termite. When going up the spiral ramp in the mound, the Tickers all say how much they like Banjo's backpack and that they are going to steal it off him. They can also be found inside the giant Christmas Tree in [[Freezeezy Peak]].
'''Tickers''' are overgrown termite baddies found mainly on [[Mumbo's Mountain]]. They inhabit a gigantic termite mound known as Ticker's Tower which is just downhill of the village where [[Mumbo Jumbo]]'s skull hut is and can easily be seen from any point in the world. [[Banjo]] can enter the mound, but the slopes leading to the upper levels are far too steep for even the [[Talon Trot]] to tackle, so Mumbo's help is needed to transform Banjo himself into a [[Termite Banjo|termite]], allowing him to climb the slippery slopes. While Tickers wear no clothing themselves, they have an eye for Termite Banjo's shorts and backpack, and will attempt to bully him out of them when he passes by.
 
In addition to Mumbo's Mountain, one Ticker can be found just outside the world entrance in [[Gruntilda's Lair]], and there are three seemingly out-of-place Tickers inside the large Christmas tree in [[Freezeezy Peak]].
