'''Sput Sputs''' are the dart-shooting statue heads found in [[Mayahem Temple]]. They are completely stationary, but will spit darts at [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] if they get too close. Sput Sputs can be disabled by firing eggs at the jewel between their eyes, or destroyed completely by hitting it with a [[Grenade Eggs|Grenade Egg]], but any such measures are temporary and usually wasteful anyway since Sput Sput darts are easily avoided, especially with the the fast-footed [[Talon Trot]].
