Deny it. The welcome template is a lot better than this auto stuff. Have you heard of the automatic welcome system (the Wikia Welcome Tool)? In case you don't know, it automatically welcomes a user who makes their first edit and makes a talk page for them in the name of the most recent admin to make an edit (usually me, as it happens).
So...what do you guys think of it? Should we disable it, keep it, or alter what it says? There are a few pages (listed at the link above) that can be changed to edit it. (Please don't do so unless you're an admin.) Toomai Glittershine eXemplary Logic 02:54, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
