In ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]'', there are red, green, and blue Shrapnels that appear in the deep waters of [[Jolly Roger's Lagoon]], but only during [[Grunty's Submarine Challenge]]. The objective is for Banjo (as a [[Submarine Banjo|Submarine]]) to fire torpedoes at numerous Shrapnels within the time limit and earn 60 points. Each color of Shrapnel is differently sized, and larger ones are worth more points. Red Shrapnels are worth one point, green ones are worth two, and blue ones are worth three. Just like the predecessor, Banjo must avoid touching Shrapnels, otherwise they explode on him.
