The '''Ancient Ones''', or at least statues of their likeness, can be found in [[Gobi's Valley]] in ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]''. The first statue rises from the ground in between [[Jinxy]] and the nearest pyramid. [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] must [[fly]] through the ring on its head using the [[Flight Pad]] on Jinxy's back to make the next Ancient One statue appear. Doing the same for all four statues rewards the pair with a [[Jiggy]].

The ancient statues appear to be pranksters of some sort. This is shown as when the player goes through the first ring they say that flying through all of the rings will defeat [[Gruntilda]]. After Banjo does so they admit that they were kidding and give him the Jiggy. Their faces also resemble Banjo in a way, so it is possible they could be Banjo's great ancestors.
