Bee Banjo is a recurring transformation in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Bee Banjo is a special, unique transformation that appears in both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.

Banjo-Kazooie
Transformation
In Banjo-Kazooie, the Bumble Bee (or Bee as it is called in the game) is the transformation of Click Clock Wood, as well as the most expensive one in the game (costing a whopping twenty-five Mumbo Tokens to perform). Its value lies in its ability to fly by pressing A in mid-jump, without requiring the use of Red Feathers or a Flight Pad.
In its debut appearance, Banjo-Kazooie, Bee Banjo is the transformation of Click Clock Wood. Mumbo Jumbo only allows Banjo to become a bee in the spring because Mumbo has various excuses for the other seasons. If Bee Banjo enters another season or reaches certain zones, he transforms back to his usual form. In Banjo-Tooie, Bee Banjo is the transformation of Cloud Cuckooland. Banjo can only reach and enter the Zubba's Nest as a bee. Bee Banjo can earn a Jiggy in the nest by completing a mini-game.

When flying, the player can press A to fly higher and hold B to fly faster. When the Bee enters water though, it will immediately fly automatically. The Bee is also immune to the thicket area surrounding Mumbo's Skull and to the Snarebears; however, the transformation is only usable in Spring (as Mumbo Jumbo has various excuses in the other seasons). Interestingly enough, cheat codes have proven that Bee Banjo can walk on the quicksand of Gobi's Valley and the murky waters of Bubblegloop Swamp, but not on Freezeezy Peak's ice water. A possible explanation is simply because of the different settings of ice water as opposed to quicksand. As you'll stand in a bottom of water, rather than walking on top of the sand.
Abilities
As a bumble bee, Banjo can fly without Red Feathers or a Flight Pad. While Bee Banjo is in midair, the player can make him fly by pressing N64 and hold N64 to make him fly faster. Bee Banjo automatically starts to fly when he hits water.

Banjo-Tooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, Bee Banjo cannot take damage from the Snarebears and the thicket area surrounding Mumbo's Skull.
In Banjo-Tooie, the Bee is the native transformation of Cloud Cuckooland. In addition to its flight abilities introduced in Banjo-Kazooie, it can now fire stingers at enemies using Z (with C-up to aim). When flying, you can fire at a much faster rate than when standing. Stingers do similar damage to Blue Eggs and are the only way to destroy the Eyeballus Jiggium Plants. The Bee will also leave an animation trail of blue sparks when flying faster.

The Bee is the only way to reach and enter The Zubba's Nest and complete the mini-game to earn a Jiggy (Banjo and Kazooie are unable to enter because only bees are allowed inside).
In Banjo-Tooie, Bee Banjo can fire stingers at enemies. The player can press N64 to make Bee Banjo fire stingers and aim with N64. Bee Banjo can fire at a much faster rate than when he is on land. Bee Banjo's stinger projectiles do not cause much damage, although it is the only way for him to defeat the Eyeballus Jiggium Plants. While flying at a fast speed, Bee Banjo leaves behind an animation trail of blue sparks.

Trivia
Nomenclature
*Despite the four parts of Click Clock Wood being one world, Bee Banjo can only be used in Spring.
{{Foreign names
*The bee is the only Banjo-Kazooie transformation whose magic can run out within a level. Bee Banjo will automatically change back to regular form upon entering the Summer, Autumn, and Winter sections of Click Clock Wood. It also happens to have the most zones where the transformation can be undone (with seven) while every other transformation only has one.

*The bee is the only transformation that cannot go underwater, instead, when it touches water, it automatically starts flying.
|JapR=Hachi
*There is a Glitch where you go to a Warp Cauldron under the Click Clock Wood room and it cancels the detransformation and you could roam around Gruntilda's Lair as the Bee Transformation.
