-'''Grille Chompa''' is an enemy found at [[Clanker's Cavern]] and one at the world's entrance at [[Gruntilda's Lair]] in [[Banjo-Kazooie]]. He is some kind of green worm/slug monster that hides inside a broken grill/grate in the wall. Before [[Banjo]] approaches, the grate is motionless. But when he does come near, te Grille Chompa comes half-way out and bites to the centre, to the right, to the left and then descends back into his hole. A couple of seconds later, if Banjo is still near, he will come out again and repeat his attack. His mouth is lined with sharp, spiky teeth, similar to the ones of [[Lockup]]. He can be defeated by using shooting 1 egg into him or using the [[Rat-a-tap-tap]] ability.

Although this baddie looks tough, it has extremely low vitality and can be killed with a single well-timed attack whenever its body is exposed.
