'''Boom Boxes''', also known as '''TNT Boom Boxes'''<ref>''Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge'' official manual, page 23.</ref>, are explosive crate enemies that appear in ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]'' and ''[[Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge]]''. The word "TNT" is written on their side in red ink (or brown in ''Grunty's Revenge''). Their name is a pun on a {{wp|boombox}}, a type of portable music player.  

In ''Banjo-Kazooie'', Boom Boxes are found in [[Rusty Bucket Bay]]. If [[Banjo]] touches a Boom Box, it explodes on him, causing him to take damage. [[Kazooie]] make a Boom Box explode by firing an [[Blue Egg|egg]] at it. Boom Boxes can also be safely defeated with [[Wonderwing]]. Boom Boxes explode after a few seconds of chasing Banjo and Kazooie. The boss of Rusty Bucket Bay is a large Boom Box named [[Boss Boom Box]].

In ''Grunty's Revenge'', Boom Boxes appear in both [[Spiller's Harbor]] and [[Freezing Furnace]]. Boom Boxes act the same as in ''Banjo-Kazooie'', although the variety of eggs allows for more ways that Kazooie can defeat them.
