'''Termite Banjo''' is the first transformation of ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]'' and is found in the first world of the game, [[Mumbo's Mountain]]. It requires 5 [[Mumbo Token]]s and can only be used in Mumbo's Mountain and the area outside of the world in [[Gruntilda's Lair]].

This transformation's main use is to climb steep slopes that even the [[Talon Trot]] ability cannot climb. Its main usage is to climb to the top of [[Ticker's Tower]] to collect a [[Jiggy]], and to collect the [[Witch Switch]] Jiggy on top of the world's entrance in Gruntilda's Lair. In addition, Termite Banjo sinks to the bottom of any bodies of water and does not require oxygen to breathe. It can also allow you to fall from higher place without suffering from fall damage.

As a termite, the [[Ticker]]s do not attempt to hurt [[Banjo]], although he still gets injured from touching them. The Tickers show interest in Banjo's shorts and backpack and insist that he gives it to them.
