'''Snippet''' is an enemy, found mainly at [[Treasure Trove Cove]] but one can also be found out the front of the entrance to the world in [[Gruntilda's Lair]] in [[Banjo-Kazooie]] 1. He is a huge [[wikipedia:Crab|crab]] that always attacks the player by walking into them sideways (which is how crabs walk). There is a another crab at Treasure Trove Cove, named Nippy, who is larger than Snippet. Nippy acts as Treasure Trove Cove's level [[List of Bosses|boss]]. To kill snippet, [[Banjo]] must either attack him with either [[Rat-a-tap-tap]], [[Slash]] or [[Roll]] twice or he can use [[Beak Buster]] which will finish him off in one go. Snippet drops 2 Health Honeycomb pieces when attacked with Beak Barge or [[Wonderwing]], or 1 honeycomb when killed with another attack.

There is also a '''Black Snippet''' that looks the same but is obviously black-coloured. He is also stronger and hader to defeat. Banjo must [[Beak Buster]] him twice before he is tipped onto his back like the normal one. He guards the Jiggy inside the Sandcastle at [[Treasure Trove Cove]]. He hides behind the gate protected until Banjo finishes his puzzle in the time limit.
