Sabreman's appearance in Banjo-Tooie was not much more than as a minor character. Banjo and Kazooie discover his frozen body on the Icy Side of Hailfire Peaks clutching a familiarly-shaped treasure. The first step in rescuing this lost explorer is to thaw out his body with a Fire Egg, which melts away the ice beautifully, but still leaves poor Sabreman cold in the snow; since hitting him with another Fire Egg would of course be overdoing it, the situation calls for Kazooie to employ gentler tactic by using the Hatch ability learned from Terrydactyland to warm Sabreman's head. Once all is done and well, Sabreman will give the pair the Jiggy he found and return to his tent on the Fire Side where he sleeps perpetually for the remainder of the game.

Banjo and Kazooie discover his frozen body on the Icy Side of Hailfire Peaks clutching a familiarly-shaped treasure. But just trying to heat him up won't help, because he is dead.  The first step in rescuing this lost explorer is to use Mumbo to bring him back to life, but still leaves poor Sabreman cold in the snow; you must heat him up with Fire Eggs, Hatch or Dragon Kazooie. Then Banjo must use the Taxi Pack to bring him back to the Fire Side of Hailfire Peaks. Once all is done and well, Sabreman will give the pair the Jiggy he found and hit the hay, where he sleeps perpetually for the remainder of the game.
