Napper is a green ghost who appears to be a large Tee-Hee found in Mad Monster Mansion.
Napper is a large, green ghost that appears in Mad Monster Mansion in Banjo-Kazooie. He is specifically located in the mansion's Dining Room, and was entrusted by Gruntilda to safeguard a Jiggy from Banjo and Kazooie.

He was entrusted by Gruntilda to keep a Jiggy from Banjo and Kazooie. He is transparent when he is asleep but becomes closer to opaque when he is awake. He is a light sleeper; just the slightest creak in the floorboards will wake him up. To get the Jiggy, you must enter the Mansion from the chimney on the roof and hop from the fireplace to the chairs to the table without stepping on the floor and walk through him. Obtaining the Jiggy will cause him to flee for fear of Gruntilda's wrath.
Napper is transparent while he is asleep, but becomes more opaque while he is awake. Napper is a light sleeper as even slight floorboard creak awakens him. Because of this, Banjo and Kazooie must take an alternate route into the mansion by entering from a chimney on its roof. After this, they must hop from the fireplace to the chairs positioned in front of Napper, and onto the table, where they must walk through Napper to obtain its Jiggy. By doing so, Napper wakes up and flees in fear of Gruntilda's wrath.

Trivia
*In many ways, Ssslumber the Snake is his spiritual successor in Banjo-Tooie.
*According to Grant Kirkhope, his voice is a slower variant of Banjo's voice.
*An unused music track called "Giant" appears to have his laugh. Because of this, it's believed that Napper may have once been a giant in the game. This is supported by the fact that the dinning room he is in is extremely huge and he, himself is huge as well.
*According to Grant Kirkhope, his voice was a banjo sample that was slowed down.
