'''Grille Chompas''' are a recurring enemy in the [[Banjo-Kazooie (series)|''Banjo-Kazooie'' series]].

Grille Chompas are large, eel<ref>''Banjo-Kazooie'' Nintendo Player's Guide, page 50.</ref> enemies that pop out of holes in walls to attack [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]]. Although they are eels, Grille Chompas have no association to the element of water.

In ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]'', Grille Chompas are found in many worlds such as [[Gruntilda's Lair]], [[Clanker's Cavern]], inside [[Loggo]]'s sewer in [[Mad Monster Mansion]] (where a variant called [[Portrait Chompa]] is also introduced) and [[Rusty Bucket Bay]]. When exposed, they can be easily be defeated with many attacks such as the [[Rat-a-tat Rap]].

In the [[Galley]], there is a Grille Chompa who pops out of the fridge. Unlike the other Grille Chompas, it does not dwell within a hole in the wall.

The [[Big Clucker]]s in [[Click Clock Wood]] act very similar to Grille Chompas.
