Gobi is a camel, found first in own world, Gobi's Valley then in Click Clock Wood (summer and autumn) where he announces that he is going to the lava world, which was meant to be Mount Fire Eyes. In Gobi's Valley, near the matching floor mini-game, there is a flying carpet that goes to an island where you could free Gobi and get a Jiggy, then beak bust his back near the entrance to water Trunker, and finally beak bust his back in the alcove near Jinxy for an extra honeycomb piece. In Click Clock Wood, Banjo would beak bust his back in summer and fall to water the huge plant near the Bigbutt. After being hit with a beak buster so many times, he will have had enough and runaway.
Gobi is a camel, found first in his own world, Gobi's Valley. In Gobi's Valley, near the matching floor mini-game, there is a flying carpet that goes to an island where Banjo and Kazooie free Gobi and get a Jiggy for it. Gobi runs off into Trunker's shade, where the pair return to Beak Bust him to water the thirsty tree. Annoyed, Gobi moves into the alcove near Jinxy, where the duo again flatten his humps for an Extra Honeycomb Piece. Gobi is ticked and leaves the world. He reappaers in Click Clock Wood in the summertime and in fall, "allowing" BK to water the huge plant near the Bigbutt. After the fall watering, Gobi is fed up and leaves for "the lava world".

In Banjo-Tooie he was seen in Witchyworld in the Cave of Horrors, in a cage marked "Ancient Bearded Camel". If you freed him there, he would be seen in Hailfire Peaks at the lava side's train station where you would beak bust his back for the last time to cool down Chuffy.
Next seen in Banjo-Tooie, Gobi is in Witchyworld's the Cave of Horrors, in a cage marked "Ancient Bearded Camel". Once freed again, he would move to Hailfire Peaks at the Fire Side's Train Station. His last store of water could then be used to cool down Chuffy's boiler, letting it go to the Ice Side.

In Banjo-Pilot, he makes a cameo appearance in the Gobi's Valley track.

Gobi does not physically appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but he does appear as one of L.O.G.'s premade vehicles, as the "L.O.G. Gobi" and the "L.O.G. Aqua Gobi", 2 vehicles that resemble camels.
