In ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]'', the Forward Roll is a pre-learned move, being performed the same way as it did in the previous game, but when [[Split-Up]] from Kazooie, Banjo cannot use the move because her wings are necessary for it to work. In ''[[Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge]]'', [[Bozzeye]] teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Forward Roll in [[Cliff Farm]] for 60 [[Musical Note]]s.
