It is unkown how at the beginning of Banjo-Kazooie, Bottles knows Tooty's name. However, she refers to him as Mr. Mole, implying that she does not know him very well. Also, it seems that Bottles and Banjo&Kazooie have never met. This is evedent when Bottles introduces himself to the duo.
