They are initially buried in the ground and pop out to attack once [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] get close. Despite that, Billy Bobs can be easily defeated with attacks such as the [[Rat-a-tat Rap]] or alternatively be knocked out with [[egg]]s even while still hiding.
