If you collect more than nine lives and then die, it doesn't go down to eight? Jimbo-Jambo
i'll do an example, say you have nine, and you collect... say 3 more, than after you die for times it goes back to 8..... i think...

Tested. You can in fact have more than nine lives, but nine is the maximum that can be displayed. If you collect ten lives and die once, you will have nine left. Jimbo-Jambo 22:22, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
