While B.O.B.(Big O Blaster) is technically not a character,however, it definitely plays a major roll in Banjo-Tooie. B.O.B. is a ray gun that sucks the life force out of beings and stores the force in a container. When enough is stored up it can be used to give life back to the undead. Gruntilda was planning on using this machine to remake her body. de:B.O.B.
