Uggers[citation needed] are small, green enemies wearing yellow gloves that can be seen throughout Spiral Mountain and the Isle O' Hags in Banjo-Tooie. They serve as the successor to Gruntlings from Banjo-Kazooie.

When Banjo and Kazooie walk past them, Uggers will immediately attack the duo by hitting the ground with their fists. They can be defeated by mostly any attack due to their low health.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a Stop 'n' Swop blueprint titled simply "Grunting" bears great resemblance to eponymous enemy.
