'''Toxic Gas Caves''' are a series of locations in ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]''.
The '''Toxic Gas Cave''' is an area in the world, [[Glitter Gulch Mine|Glitter Gulch Mine,]] in ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]''. [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] will slowly lose air while in this area. It is not to be confused with [[Canary Cave]], where [[Canary Mary]] is trapped. The Toxic Gas Cave is located near the waterfall and contains the Orange [[Jinjo]] and signpost from Jamjars, telling Banjo that "Anything that goes through the grinders will come out in pieces, including Jiggies". This refers to the Jiggy that is obtained by using [[Mumbo Jumbo|Mumbo]] to grind up the boulder located in front of the Crushing Shed.  


==Features and overview==
Toxic Gas Caves appear in [[Glitter Gulch Mine]]. There are two of them in total, with [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] slowly losing [[oxygen]] bubbles in both.


In the first one is found near a waterfall, containing various boulders inside. These can be broken with the [[Bill Drill]] to reveal [[Jinjo]] in one of them. There is also a [[signpost]] inside the room that hints at the [[Crushing Shed]]'s functionality.


The other one is found next to [[Wumba's Wigwam]] and is initially blocked by a pile of rocks which can be exploded with [[Detonator Banjo]]. It contains various items and a cage, where [[Canary Mary]] can be found inside. She tells of how she once had a job of going down to Glitter Gulch Mine to check for poisonous gas. If she died, the location would be deemed unsafe. She can be freed by mostly any attacks, such as the [[Rat-a-tat Rap]] or firing a [[Grenade Egg]]. Once freed, she will fly to another spot of the world where she can be challenged in a race.
