CharacteristicsEdit
He is a large, green jade snake with brown eyes. He is always found sleeping, hence the name.
BiographyEdit
Ssslumber is found in Jade Snake Grove of Mayahem Temple. He is found sleeping on a mat of loose twigs where he is guarding a Jiggy. Although he sleeps a lot, Ssslumber is good at hearing. When talking, Ssslumber repeats each "s" twice to make a hissing noise, which is also reflected in his name.
If Banjo and Kazooie approach Ssslumber, they must carefully tiptoe between the twigs. If the duo move too fast, the branches make a rustling noise, which awakens Ssslumber, who hears Banjo and Kazooie approaching. Ssslumber swallows a Jiggy and hisses Banjo and Kazooie until they leave. When the duo leave, Ssslumber coughs the Jiggy out and returns to sleep. If Once Banjo and Kazooie manage to obtain the Jiggy, Ssslumber goes back to sleep for the rest of the game.
A Clockwork Kazooie Egg can be used to obtain the Jiggy, but if it hits Ssslumber, he wakes up. If this is their first unsuccessful attempt, the game freezes after the cutscene finishes. Alternatively, the duo can obtain the Jiggy by jumping towards Ssslumber while performing Talon Trot, then a Feathery Flap and extending the range with a Beak Buster.
