A '''Spell''' is the blanket term for several gameplay altering abilities [[Mumbo Jumbo]] can perform on [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]]. In ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]'', Mumbo will turn Banjo into a different form in exchange for 5 [[Mumbo Token]]s. Every animal transformation is only available in a specific level, though the player can leave the level with the transformation still active. This feature is used for some puzzles and platforming challeges in [[Gruntilda's Lair]]. In ''[[Banjo-Tooie]]'', the player can give Mumbo a [[Glowbo]] in every level to briefly play as him. He can perform a specific spell by interacting with a [[Mumbo Pad]] in the level.
