Scrut is a Styracosaurus and one of the three children of Scrotty that appears in Banjo-Tooie. She has pink skin and green eyes.
One day, Scrut ran away to Witchyworld, only to be captured by Jippo Jims, who threw her into a prison cell in the Cave of Horrors exhibit. Scrut is in the middle cell, which has the label "Mighty Evil Dinosaur". When Banjo and Kazooie meet Scrut, they initially believe this to be true, but Scrut points out that she would have already broken out if she were. Banjo and Kazooie can use a Grenade Egg to break down the cell's door. Scrut stays in her cell until the duo have activated the Train Station of Witchyworld.
Once the train Chuffy arrives, Scrut is sent back to her home, Terrydactyland. Upon returning, Scrut is punished by Scrotty, who makes her clean the cave for the rest of the month.
