History

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, Bottles teaches Banjo and Kazooie about the Rat-a-tat Rap in Spiral Mountain. It is perfomed by pressing B Button while midair or Talon Trotting.

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Banjo and Kazooie start the game already knowing how to use the Rat-a-tat Rap and can be reminded about how to by Bottles' spirit in Spiral Mountain. It is performed the same way as it did in the previous game, although it cannot be used from a Talon Trot anymore.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Bozzeye teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Rat-a-tat Rap in Bad Magic Bayou for 210 Musical Notes. It is performed by pressing B Button while midair.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Rat-a-tat Rap appears as a flurry attack. The air-based version appears as their back-facing jump attack, and hits three times, like the original.
