Pack Whack is a recurring move in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
The Pack Whack is an attack ability for Banjo learned from Witchyworld, and can be used simply by pressing B while Banjo is alone. After splitting up, Banjo can swing his backpack around and hit enemies without the risk of injuring Kazooie. Although it is a relatively weak attack, it doubles as a jumping aide, since Banjo will hover for a second or two as he swings the pack, allowing him to jump farther. In addition, a glitch allows Banjo to jump a second time after using the move, ultimately allowing him to gain more distance and more height than he and Kazooie would with a basic jumping ability like the Feathery Flap. The Pack Whack is notable for being the first character-specific move that is learned in Banjo-Tooie.

Overview
The Pack Whack is also featured in Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, and is learned from Bozzeye in Spiral Mountain for 10 Musical Notes. This is the first of fifteen abilities Banjo and Kazooie learn in Grunty's Revenge. Pack Whack may be used by having Banjo stand still and pressing Bgameboy, but instead of swinging the pack around, he slams it on the ground. In this game, he can still use it even after saving Kazooie.
Pack Whack is a move that allows Banjo to swing his backpack and attack enemies with it.

In Banjo-Tooie, the Pack Whack is taught to Banjo, while Split-Up from Kazooie, by Jamjars in Witchyworld if at least 120 Musical Notes have been collected. It is performed by pressing N64.

The Pack Whack can also be used to double jump, as Banjo can jump out of a Pack Whack to gain extra height.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, the Pack Whack is taught by Bozzeye in Spiral Mountain for 10 Musical Notes. Unlike in the previous game, this move can be performed with Kazooie still inside the backpack as there are no Split-Up Pads in any worlds. It is performed by pressing GBA.
