These walking creatures moan when they see [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] and chase after them when spotted. They can be knocked down with any attack easily enough, but the only way to defeat them is for Kazooie to use her [[Wonderwing]] attack. They act the same as [[Limbo]]s. [[King Sandybutt]] is also a Mum-mum and shares a speech icon with them.

As a rule of thumb, Mum-mums does not yield [[Honeycomb]]s if they are knocked down while incapacitated.

-Mum-mums are a type of mummy creature encountered in [[Gobi's Valley]], as well as in the hub area for Gobi's Valley in [[Gruntilda's Lair]] if the world is visited at least once. Mum-mums have the same behavior as [[Limbo]]s. If a Mum-mum notices [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]], it starts chasing after them. The duo can use most attacks to temporarily knock down a Mum-mum. Banjo and Kazooie can only defeat a Mum-mum entirely by using the [[Wonderwing]] move. Inside of the pyramids, a Mum-mum guarding [[List of implied characters#King Sandybutt|King Sandybutt]]'s [[King Sandybutt's Tomb|Tomb]] can be found.
