When the duo return with her, Jolly rewards them with a [[Jiggy]]. Jolly allows [[Banjo]] to rent a room for 2 [[Doubloons]], although [[Kazooie]] may choose to blow up the door instead of pay. He is very effeminate and calls Banjo a "Big Boy" when he pays for a room in his inn. In short, Jolly Roger may be homosexual; however, this is peculiar because he has interest in his partner Merry Maggie Malpass, who happens to be a woman (or a man in drag).

Jolly is still himself in this world, but speaks of himself as if he were a celebrity and is dismayed when there is something he cannot accomplish.

Jolly Roger debuted in ''Banjo-Tooie'', acting as the mayor of Jolly Roger's Lagoon and owner of a tavern in the seaside town. When first encountered, he is sad due to the fact that his partner, [[Merry Maggie Malpass]], has recently gone missing. When she is rescued from the [[Big Fish]], Jolly rewards [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] with a Jiggy.

However, the game can't be progressed without learning the [[Sub-Aqua Egg Aiming|ability taught here]] by Jamjars, so entering the room, regardless of the method, is necessary.
Jolly acts a subservient robot in this world. He wears a yellow trenchcoat, a tall white wig and a silver robot mask. he appears in Act 2 to ask you to taxi him and the space crew to various locations. In Act 3 he needs the bear and bird to deliver tea and biscuits to the other characters. Jolly acts a lot like a robot in this level and always tries to serve his ''masters'' to avoid getting "punished".

While talking with Jolly Roger afterwards will only result in him thanking the duo for their help, interacting with the [[jukebox]] will result in him telling Banjo and Kazooie it's broken. To fix the machine, the two must collect all 25 [[Cheato Page]]s and return them to [[Cheato]], who will then reward the duo with the cheat code JUKEBOX and input it in the [[Code Room]]. Jolly will dance in the counter when the Jukebox is playing.
He plays a deep double agent in this world. His only challenge is to stay within a Crown Corona long enough.
