References in the Banjo-Kazooie series

Banjo-Kazooie

  • At the file select screen, sometimes when you select File 1, Banjo will get knocked out of bed and a crashing sound will play, File 2 will sometimes spin Banjo's mini kitchen around and banjo will be gone, and for File 3, Banjo will bounce out of his armchair.

("Bad grammar aside, How does this count as a cameo anyway?" - Wikiboy10)

  • In the Shipmate's Quarters of the Rusty Bucket, there's a pinup picture of Berri, Conker's girlfriend, as she appears in "Conker's Pocket Tales". This was replaced with a picture of Conker in the Xbox Live Arcade port.

Clinker's Cavern Shootout

Clinkers Cavern Shootout is 2-4 Player minigame in Banjo-Tooie That is located in Grunty Industries On the 4 floor. In this minigame you have to shoot the other players similar to Ordnance Storage Shootout and the Targitzan's Temple Shootout. Also the name Clinker's Cavern is similar to the Level Clanker's Cavern from Banjo-Kazooie.

Fries

Trivia

  • Technically, due to Rare's status as a British company and the games' frequent usage of British terms, they would be known as "chips", as the British term for fries is such.

Nintendo Power Volume 140 (Spider-Man)

Issue 140 of Nintendo Power featured a special dust cover with Spider-Man's logo on the outside. The main cover featured Spiderman in his traditional red and blue costume.

(The only two images on the article were only of Spider-Man too. Information relating to the Banjo-Kazooie series did not start until the second paragraph.)

Spikrees

The Spikrees are an obstacle in the Egg Scramble mini game that cause Banjo to spin out and slow down, possibly hindering him from collecting all the eggs.
