In ''[[Banjo-Pilot]]'', Gruntilda is a playable character, retaining her exact same appearance from ''Banjo-Kazooie'' but not speaking in rhymes, like she does in the majority of ''Banjo-Tooie''. She is unlocked by completing [[Grunty GP]] and giving 150 [[Cheato Page]]s to [[Cheato]]. She has very low handling and acceleration but max top speed. Gruntilda is the boss of [[Broomstick Cup]], being fought at the end in the match "Grunty Gallop". During the battle, when Gruntilda is flying in front, she shoots behind [[Shrapnel]]s that work like [[Ice Egg|Single Blue Ice Egg]]s.

She has her own Grand Prix mode, [[Grunty GP]]. It features unique cups but with the regular courses, which received some thematic changes.
