Groggy is one of Boggy's three children appearing in Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.

Games

Banjo-Kazooie

In Banjo-Kazooie, he and his siblings Soggy and Moggy need presents as their father Boggy didn't get the three of them any presents. Banjo and Kazooie must then go to Freezeezy Peak to search for three presents that the three kids can have.

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie Groggy reappears and has gained a lot of weight in the past two years, to the point that he can barely walk. He is also wearing a green jacket and a baseball cap. He can be found at Witchyworld begging for a Burger (despite his "full" appearance). However, when fed it, he becomes too bloated to move, so Banjo has to Taxi Pack him to his mother, Mrs. Boggy, who is not too happy about her son eating before dinner. A few well-delivered whacks with her purse send him running.

If Banjo and Kazooie decide not to feed him the burger, Groggy will insult Banjo for not feeding him and state that he will not go back to Mrs. Boggy until he has been fed the burger.

Later in Hailfire Peaks, when he is on his bed, he thanks Banjo for the burger and says he has to go to the bathroom, but is too fat to get up. When Banjo talks or does not interact with him, he simply rocks back and forth, scratching his stomach and belching or farting.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts

Groggy, Moggy, and Soggy were going to appear in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but were scrapped likely due to time restraints. Although they were cut, their head icons appeared in a promotional artwork for the game. The name of their canceled Jiggy challenge was "Don't Bring Your Kids to Work Day".[1]
