'''Grille Chompa''' is an enemy found in [[Clanker's Cavern]], [[Mad Monster Mansion]] (inside [[Loggo]]), [[Rusty Bucket Bay]] and in several areas around [[Gruntilda's Lair]]. This bizarre fish- or slug-like enemy hides within broken grates on walls in damp and dark areas. If [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] get too close, the Grille Chompa will growl and lunge from its hole, biting at the air a few times before retreating back. It will continue to do so until Banjo and Kazooie move away or it is killed. | |||
Although Grille Chompas look tough, they have extremely low vitality and can be killed with a single well-timed attack such as the [[Rat-a-tat Rap]] whenever their bodies are exposed.
