The '''Forward Roll''' is an attack that is used simply by moving the joystick and pressing {{B}}. It is a basic but useful attack, and although it does not do as much damage and is not as easily controlled as the [[Rat-a-tat Rap]], it is especially useful for dealing with enemies which are low to the ground. In [[Banjo-Tooie]], [[Kazooie]] uses her wings to assist [[Banjo]] in rolling, which, although it does serve to increase the speed and maneuverability of the attack, was most likely implemented so that Banjo would have to learn a [[Pack Whack|new attack]] in order to fight on his own.
