Flap Flip is move that allows Banjo and Kazooie to jump higher than normal and reach higher areas.
Banjo-KazooieEdit
In Banjo-Kazooie, Bottles teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Flap Flip in Spiral Mountain during the tutorial. It is performed by holding and then pressing .
Banjo-TooieEdit
In Banjo-Tooie, Banjo and Kazooie already start the game knowing how to use the Flap Flip, and Bottles' ghost can remember them in Spiral Mountain. It is performed the same way as it did in Banjo-Kazooie. When splitting up, Banjo can use a variant of this move by himself by "flapping" his arms, but Kazooie cannot; she eventually learns a similar move known as the Leg Spring.
Grunty's RevengeEdit
In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, Kazooie teaches Banjo how to use the Flap Flip once she is rescued from Mecha-Grunty in Breegull Beach. It is performed by holding and then pressing .
Super Smash Bros. UltimateEdit
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Flap Flip appears as the duo's backwards jump.
