Egg caches[1] are a type of nest in Banjo-Tooie. They are the only way for Banjo and Kazooie to acquire eggs. Golden Feathers, Red Feathers, and Musical Notes are also only obtainable this way but from different caches. Every few seconds, an egg cache depicts a different egg that Kazooie learned from Jamjars. To refill their supply of an egg, Banjo and Kazooie must move to an egg cache when it depicts that type.
