BiographyEdit

Banjo-TooieEdit

Chris P. Bacon first appears in Banjo-Tooie. Banjo and Kazooie encounter Chris P. Bacon in Atlantis in Jolly Roger's Lagoon. He claims to be on vacation, and is taking pictures of the paintings in the walls of the Temple of the Fishes with a yellow Game Boy Camera cartridge in a dark purple Game Boy Color. Chris P. Bacon is found inside of a cage, and Banjo and Kazooie must protect him by firing eggs at incoming piranhas while he takes pictures of ancient paintings on the wall. If they do this successfully, Chris P. Bacon rewards them with a Jiggy and leaves the temple.

Nuts & BoltsEdit

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Chris P. Bacon is mentioned in the Jiggosseum's scoreboard (being referred to as "Chris P. Putter") where, in the "Golf" category, it is stated that he scored 1 point in the "Frustrating Weekend Hobby Cup Round 2."

Name originEdit

Chris P. Bacon's name is a pun on the phrase "crispy bacon," and was given by a fan, Simon Turk, who won a contest held by Nintendo Official Magazine UK, in which a fan would choose his name. Despite this, Gregg Mayles has also stated his name came from a Rare Ltd. employee who was called "Chris P" by others.[1]
