The Cheese Wedge is a recurring location in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Features and overviewEdit

The Cheese Wedge is a large, mouldy wedge of Swiss cheese.

Banjo-TooieEdit

In Banjo-Tooie, its first appearance, the Cheese Wedge appears in one of Cloud Cuckooland's floating islands. It can only be reached by flying or climbing a grown beanstalk. Banjo and Kazooie can enter Inside the Cheese Wedge, where they lose oxygen overtime due to the toxic odour, to rescue a Jinjo on an elevated ledge and collect a Jiggy on a closed room. Some floating onion platforms can also be found inside which are used to access both things.

Nuts & BoltsEdit

In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, the Cheese Wedge appears an exhibit in Banjoland. It is largely different from its previous appearance, being now made of metal and containing a red paraffin wax with a white circle and a Jiggy in its center. It is one of the few exhibits to not feature an Infopost, with the other ones being the Click Clock Wood Tree, Terry's Nest and the underwater statues. Some portraits around the museum also depict the Cheese Wedge in Banjo-Tooie.

TriviaEdit

In the Xbox Live Arcade release of Banjo-Tooie, the Feather caches next to the Cheese Wedge are reduced from four to two for unknown reasons.
