| Boss Boom Box appearing within the [[Rusty Bucket]] in ''[[Banjo-Kazooie]]''. To enter his [[hold]], a large [[wikipedia:TNT|TNT]] box needs to be dropped on its entrance, destroying the door and allowing [[Banjo]] and [[Kazooie]] to access it.

| During the battle, Boss Boom Box hops around the room attempting to attack the duo. After having been hit a certain number of times, he splits into two smaller Boss Boom Boxes, which can then be also attacked to eventually split into more boxes and this continues until all 15 boxes have been destroyed. Every split box has less health and more speed than the box they came from, and they go through four different sizes. Once completely destroyed, Boss Boom Box leaves a [[Jiggy]] in the room.

| *It is possible to obtain Boss Boom Box's Jiggy in ''Banjo-Kazooie'' without fighting him through a [[List of Banjo-Kazooie glitches|glitch]]. To trigger it, a [[Blue Egg]] needs to be [[Egg Firing|fired]] at the boss while he is still in the ground, causing the fight to start while the Jiggy is still on the room. Banjo and Kazooie can then simply grab it and leave, as the room is not locked.
