“This makes breaking so much fun, now listen up to how it's done! Leap high in the air and then hold Z Button to watch Kazooie spin and drill with her head!”
Jamjars, Banjo-Tooie

The Bill Drill is a move used by Banjo and Kazooie throughout the Banjo-Kazooie series. It acts as a variation of the Beak Buster and has Kazooie rapidly spinning into the ground like a drill to break boulders, unscrew bolts or shake trees.

History

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Jamjars teaches Banjo and Kazooie how to use the Bill Drill in Glitter Gulch Mine if they have at least 85 Musical Notes, being performed by by jumping with the A Button button and then holding the Z Button button.

Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, the Bill Drill replaces the Beak Buster completely. It is mostly used to open crevices or shake trees and statues down to cause the items atop them to fall.

The move is taught by Bozzeye in Bad Magic Bayou for 170 Musical Notes, being performed by pressing L Button after jumping.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the Bill Drill, which is now performed upwards, is used as the duo's upward smash attack.
