I first became aquanted with the bear and bird via...well, I THINK a Christmas present, but my earliest memory is of going down into the basement, where the Nintendo 64 was set up, and playing it one rainy day. After I began playing, it stuck with me my entire life. (Is it just me, or did we all (my generation, at least) play the really good stuff when we were really young? Or is it, really, did we play games just because they're fun at that time?) I remember me and my sister, Annie, would play it a lot just for fun. She enjoied going to [[Click Clock Wood]] and playing as the bee transformation. My favorite stages were probably [[Treasure Trove Cove]], [[Clanker's Cavern]], [[Bubblegoop Swamp]](I guess, despite those evil pirhannas), and [[Freezeezy Peak]]. The game also helped me become attatched to two things that have lasted my gaming career: My love of cheat codes and the fact that, whenever given the chance, I claim file slot #3. (Interesting story behind that: One day, I was about to play my first file when I accidentially deleted it! To ensure I didn't do it again, I thought that, if I put it alllllll the way to file # 3, I would be more awake and less likely to accidentially hit the delete button. From the moment I finished that file 100% onwards, I have always chosen file #3, or at least a file that isn't #1. (This file did end up getting erased one night, along with all my other data, as punishment for refusing to wash dishes.)
