| How about you number them manually, rather than with the # symbols?[[User:GigaMetroid99|GigaMetroid99]] 01:30, 23 May 2008 (UTC) | | How about you number them manually, rather than with the # symbols?[[User:GigaMetroid99|GigaMetroid99]] 01:30, 23 May 2008 (UTC) |

| Why do you think they stopped at 882 notes needed to open the last door? It keeps increasing by 18 after the last necessary Note Door, and increasing 882 by 18 would bring it up to 900, the number of Notes in the game. This leads me to believe that either there was supposed to be another door, or Rareware decided to be merciful by not making us get every single note. I find the latter option unlikely; if they wanted to be merciful, they would have made Rusty Bucket Bay a lot easier. | I don't know; where else in the Lair would you put a Note Door? I can't think of anywhere. I always thought they used 828, 846, 864, and 882 because they were all between 800 and 900 and were "anagrams" of eacn other (828 to 882, 846 to 864). | Maybe an extra area not put in the game? I really don't know. I'm just saying that it seems to me that, following the pattern, there should be one more door, and that one door would just make everything fit (it follows the "increase by 18" rule, it uses every note in the game, etc.). Well, that "anagram" thing may be related (Rare might have found it clever that they could increase it by a consistent amount and have them have that "anagram" effect).
